Google Trends compare: put any number of keywords on one 0–100 scale
The Kwerix comparator puts any number of keywords on one Google Trends 0–100 scale. It batches your list with a shared anchor keyword, rescales every batch to that anchor and ranks the keywords by average interest. Each keyword costs $0.0015 on your Apify account, and the free plan's $5 monthly credit covers about 3,300.

How does the Google Trends comparator work?
The Google Trends comparator works in 3 steps. Google Trends scales every request to its own maximum, so two separate requests cannot be compared directly. The comparator fixes that with one keyword that appears in every request.
- Pick an anchor. The anchor is the keyword shared by every request; without one, the comparator uses the first keyword of the list.
- Batch the list. The keywords run in batches of 4 plus the anchor, one Google Trends request per batch.
- Rescale to the anchor. Every batch is multiplied by the ratio of the anchor's total interest in the first batch to its total in that batch, and the keywords are ranked by average interest on that common scale.
What do the comparison numbers mean?
The comparison numbers are relative Google Trends interest, not search volumes. A keyword at 40 is searched about 4 times as often as a keyword at 10 in the same location and time range. A keyword that never reaches 5 in its own batch has too few steps to measure precisely and comes back with a lowPrecision flag. An anchor of medium popularity keeps that flag rare.
What does a comparison cost?
A comparison costs $0.0015 per keyword on your Apify account, with no start fee: 10 keywords cost $0.015 and 100 keywords cost $0.15. Apify's free plan includes $5 of usage every month, about 3,300 keywords. Each run carries a spending cap, so it never charges more than the keywords you send.
The same comparison runs from code with the Google Trends API, which returns interest over time, regions, breakout queries and seasonality for any keyword list: set compareKeywords to true and readcomparison.rank for each keyword.
